A barbaric dwarf from distant Mystrar, Thorngrim lived among a clan of dwarves who had only seen stone as part of ancient, ancestral artifacts. They lived their lifes in great ancestral trees, hollowing out their homes amid the wood and canopy, never setting foot on the ground.

He (and a large portion of his village of Hadoon) was transported as part of some freakish accident with the aether and an artifact in ancient dwarf ruins. The wrenching journey through the aether appears to have changed him… or tainted him…
