Everdusk is a fantasy setting designed for the 4th Edition Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game. In Everdusk, three continents dominate the geography, Mystrar, Esovel, and Keslinn. Vast tracts of ocean and air separate these three continents, for each is a massive floating shelf of earth. Primordials bound within these shelves fuel the continents—creatures of air hold them aloft, creatures of fire keep them warm, and creatures of water provide sustenance for life. Floating islands dot the sky between these continents, drifting restlessly in the vast airscape. Far beneath the continents lies the Deep Sea, where a massive whirlpool called the Vortex provides a formidable gateway into the Elemental Chaos. High above the continents of Everdusk are two moons, the Fell Moon and the Fey Moon, which hold the Shadowfell and the Feywild.
Everdusk sits always upon the edge of a knife, ready to slide along a deadly path. Some say that war is the only constant in Everdusk. Nearly each millennium has seen a war that devastated the inhabitants of the world. Indeed, Everdusk was born of war.
